Top managers and other representatives of the Nordic dairy industry will meet in Malmö on 18-20. May, where they discuss the sustainable dairy production of the future.

Nordic Dairy Congress will be held next week at Hotel Clarion in Malmö with 333 delegates from dairies, suppliers, researchers, organizations, educational institutions, dairy master students and others. And it is not only the Nordic countries arriving in Malmö next week, as 21 countries are represented at the congress. Over three days, they will focus on some of UN's sustainability goals for inspiration and learning, which i.a. includes a panel discussion between the managers of Arla Foods, TINE, Norrmejerier and Thise, who  discuss the dairies' position in a sustainable food chain.

Emphasis will be on a relevant selection of the UN Sustainable Development Goals with reflections on challenges and opportunities for the dairy industry to become part of the solution while doing business. In a world with huge climate challenges, ongoing wars and volatile food markets, dialogue and sharing of experiences are more important than ever.

Moreover, an important anniversary is celebrated during the congress as it is 100 years ago that the Nordic people decided to meet for the very first time and have done so every 3^rd year since.
