Dinner at Ingólfsskáli Viking Restaurant
Ingolfskali Viking Restaurant is located in the quaint municipality of Ölfus, South Iceland, nestled beneath the majestic Ingólfsfjall mountain, you’ll discover the enchanting Ingólfsskáli Viking Restaurant. Golf Tournament at Keilir Golf Course
Keilir Golf Course is a links golf course placed in Hafnarfjordur town, 15 minutes from downtown Reykjavik. There is a vast difference between the front nine and the back nine. The front nine is surrounded by lava, and the back nine is placed on a small peninsula at the entrance into the Hafnarfjordur harbor, with spectacular views to Snaefellsjokull glacier and the Alftanes peninsula. Dairy visit MS Dairy Selfoss + Skyrland
MS's largest single production facility is in Selfoss. A total of 110 employees works in MS Selfoss, producing liquid milk, fermented products as skyr and yoghurt, as well as a variety of UHT products, butter and milk powder. The milk collection area extends from Snæfellsnes in the west to Skeiðarásandur in the east, and annually it receives about 75 million liters of milk from about 290 farmers, which is about half of all milk production in the country. At Selfoss, there is a maintenance department, a laboratory and milk inspection, and transport activities are an important part of the operation of the facility, from the collection of milk to the transport of the finished product to Reykjavík and product distribution in the south.Skyrland immerses your senses in the world of skyr, Iceland’s unique superfood. A journey of sights, scents and tastes, you’ll discover a 1000-year story of how a Viking dairy product became a global health food. Skyr, the creamy Icelandic yogurt, is woven through the story of a nation.
