Call for Poster Presentations: Nordic Dairy Congress 2025

The Nordic Dairy Congress 2025 invites young researchers to submit abstracts for poster presentations showcasing cutting-edge research that contributes to advancement in the dairy field. This is a unique opportunity to engage with the dairy community, share your innovative ideas, and gain recognition for your contributions.

The theme of the congress is “Unlock the POWER OF DAIRY for people and the planet” and emphasizes technology and nutrition, focusing on four key topics:

• Nutrition throughout life
• Towards zero product waste
• Dairy's contribution to future diets
• Sustainable process technologies

While submissions addressing these topics are encouraged, research from all areas of dairy science and innovation is welcome.

Submission guidelines:

• Abstracts must not exceed 250 words.
• A concise and descriptive title.
• Clearly include the objective, methods, results, and conclusions of your research.
• All submissions will undergo a review by the Nordic Dairy Congress Committee.
• Introduction to the presenter/young researcher including name, job title, university/company, degree, contact information.

Oral pitch opportunity:
From the pool of poster submissions, four abstracts will be selected for oral presentations on stage, in addition to the poster presentation. Selected researchers will deliver a 3-minute pitch during the congress, offering a platform to highlight their work to a broader audience.

The selected presentations will have free entrance to the congress and included activities from Tuesday May 20, 2 PM until Thursday May 22, 4 PM. Travel costs and stay are not covered.

The Congress will take place at Hilton Reykjavik Nordica, Suðurlandsbraut 2, 108 Reykjavík.
