In broad sunshine, the first 250 participants were able to kick off the Nordic Dairy Congress, as Wednesday’s program was primarily held in the networking spirit with golf, canal cruises, and get-together.
On Wednesday, the Nordic Dairy Congress finally kicked off with golf, canal cruises, and get-together prior to the evening’s dinner. And just over 250 of the 333 participants had chosen to prioritize the soft start, which, in addition to the day’s events, provided extra time for networking.
Already at 9 a.m., the first golf balls were driven at the international PGA Sweden National (Lakes) Golf Course, where nine golf enthusiasts competed with each other in perfect golf weather. Palle Jellesmark, owner of Dairy Tech Denmark, won the first prize after determined efforts.
Later in the day, SPX FLOW headed by Pranav Shah sponsored a canal cruise around Malmö city and harbour, where 180 participants in three boats witnessed both history, new architecture, parks, and churches. With enthusiastic tour guides and refreshments in hand, everyone became more familiar with the city of Malmö.
Before the participants could sit down for the evening’s dinner at the Clarion Hotel, MMS Nordic hosted welcome drinks in the sponsorship area, where 23 sponsors welcomed the attendees to a professional talk.
